In order to manage our company, we collect and may use individually identifiable personal data or information (also known as “personal data”) from visitors to our Website and our customers.

WHY DO WE USE PERSONAL DATA?

 

MANAGING OUR CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP

 

Data categories – This may be your name, surname, title, company name, home or residence address, private and/or business phone number, email address, desired booking period, composition and age range of the group, choice of lodge, reasons for renting, correspondence (including via the contact form), etc.

Purpose – The data you provide is processed in order to respond to your inquiry, to examine the possibility of a rental, to manage the rental and to communicate with you about it.

Your contact and financial data are also used to bill our services and for debt recovery, or to notify modifications of the Contract or the Privacy Policy (including new purposes).

This data is therefore essential to the performance of our contract. Without it, we cannot carry out our mission.

Specific data – No personal data related to special requests of any kind is kept, e.g. requests from people with reduced mobility or other disabilities.

Recipients of the data – The number of members of the group and the number of overnight stays is forwarded to the competent municipality in order to fulfil our obligations as regards tourist taxes. Similarly, other data can be  disclosed, e.g. to accounting firms or suppliers in connection with the rental (e.g. for weddings or events). 

Duration – The data relating to the rental inquiry is kept for 1 year after the inquiry or for 5 years after the stay if a booking is made.

We are required to keep billing data until the expiry of our tax and accounting obligations, or for 7 full tax years.

 

PROMOTING OUR SERVICES

 

If you have shown an interest in our services, our legitimate interest in promoting them justifies us carrying out information or promotional operations on our company's services electronically and in paper form.

Your data (name, surname, company, address, email address and IP address) will in no case be disclosed to third parties.

We keep your contact data for this purpose until you ask us to delete it.

 

SECURITY OF OUR PREMISES

 

You may be filmed at the entrance of our properties and car parks via a video-surveillance system, based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the safety of our properties and car parks. This data will be erased no later than 1 month after it has been recorded, unless it is to be used as evidence.

 

VIEWING OUR WEBSITE

 

In principle, access to the information available on or through the website takes place without having to provide personal data.

However, some pages of the website may deposit certain information called “cookies” in the visitor's computer. The cookie contains a unique code that allows your browser to be identified during the visit to the Website (called a session cookie) or in subsequent repeat visits (called a permanent cookie). Purposes - The data you provide by visiting our pages on social networks are or could be processed jointly by the social network and the administrator of this page for the following purposes:

  • collecting certain data using cookies;

  • getting audience statistics from the page.

This data will only be processed by the administrator of the page in the context of its legitimate interest in getting statistics on visitors to its page so as to properly promote its page. The audience statistics prepared by the social network are only sent to the administrator of the page in an anonymised form.

Data categories - Data related to your account, data related to content sharing or communications you have with other people.

Duration - This data is or could be processed for as long as the page exists and you visit it.

 

THE LOCATION OF YOUR DATA 

 

Server – The data is stored on servers located in Switzerland, a country that the European Commission considers to offer adequate personal data protection.

Sending our newsletters– We may use subcontractors located outside the European Union for sending our newsletters. If this is the case, we of course ensure that they are bound to comply with the same data protection standards as in the EU, either through appropriate contractual clauses or by adhering to the Privacy Shield principles. You can obtain a copy of these guarantees upon request.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW DO YOU EXERCISE THEM?

Information – This right is exercised by means of this document. If the data of your staff is among the processed data, you undertake to ensure that they read this document.

Access and correction – You have the right to access your data and have it corrected if necessary.

Opposition– You can object to the processing of your data that we carry out based on our legitimate interest.

Withdrawal of consent– If your data is processed under your consent, you can reconsider this decision at any time, without calling any past processing into question. 

Erasure – You can obtain the erasure of your data or the limitation of the processing in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Portability – The data you have provided to us may be communicated to you or transmitted to another provider electronically.
